Metelec named a finalist in The Express & Star 2024 Business Awards

Metelec is delighted to be named a finalist in this year’s Express & Star Business Awards.

Metelec is proud to be in the running for two of this year’s categories for one of the most prestigious awards in the region. The first is in ‘the growth and innovation’ category, which is granted to businesses that have achieved growth and have an inspirational story to tell. The second nomination is for ‘the small to medium sized business of the year’ award.

More than 100 entries were received for the awards and this year the Express & Star will also be celebrating its 150th anniversary, with the awards shining a spotlight on some of the region’s premier enterprises, innovators, services, and products within the newspaper’s coverage area.

Kevin Draper, Managing Director of Metelec, said: “We enjoyed a record-breaking 2023 and these nominations are a real credit to everyone’s hard work and dedication to the business.

“We are looking forward to welcoming the judges next month to showcase our brand-new facilities, as well as our values and ethos as a business.

“We’ve got a strong team and we’re constantly evolving as a business. 2024 is an exciting year for us and we are focussed on improving the business still further, providing the best possible service for our clients and working environment for our staff.

“It’s tough competition as there are so many fantastic businesses in the West Midlands, but we are certainly proud on the shortlist and look forward to seeing who takes the honours on the night.”

The awards will be presented at The Halls in Wolverhampton on Thursday, June 13.
